Anyone done radio advertising? I know costs can vary. I got in touch with a local radio station, and it's like $30 for 1 time radio commercial. I don't think that's too bad really, I would think money could be made back and then profit if it's at the right time of day and it's the right offer for my area.

I obviously won't know until I try, just wondering what people think. $30 bucks isn't much to lose in trying it out either.

Interesting. It could potentially work, but the problem is that most people that listen to the radio are in the car and most of the time won't go to a website immediately. You would have to make the commercial very enticing so that the people listening remember your URL.

    It does have potential though.

I agree, I'd have to use an easy to remember url....I think it's best to use an easy to remember url for any/everything (to an extent) anyway, I live close to a spot where unemployment is thru the roof, so maybe a job lead, biz opp, or something to that extent.

Yeah that could work well. Be sure it's something that they can afford as well. I've seen some biz opp offers that are too high priced even for those who really do want it.

I'd probably have to go with a lead based offer is what I'm thinking. If ppl are already poor here, I don't wanna charge them anything

repetition, repetition, repetition....For radio to stick, you have got to run the ad multiple times. Best to pick an easy listening station that offices tune into. That way you catch them while they are at their desk. The brain has 5 seconds to respond to something, if it is not done in that 5 seconds, you can forget about it forever.
