Qustion regarding Bing

In my experience, Bing indexed much quicker than google. Is this true for anyone else as well? I think Bing will index as soon as you start getting traffic. This is what happened for me. Google, not so much, or at least not yet.

Just goes to show me that google isn't the only player in the search engine game despite what I used to think

For any of you struggling to get indexed fast, Bing webmaster tools, then submit your sitemap. All you need to do after that is get some traffic. It works for me, hopefully it will work for any of you.

EDIT: good method for traffic, Bit*ly your url, then go to yahoo answers and just answer a question and say something like "oh yeah that same thing is covered in detail at this website here (Post your link)". They will click on it, you will get traffic, but they will by no means stay long

Sorry for bumping this old thread, but I'm interested to know your progress with Bing so far if you care to share? I'm getting into Bing now.
