    Hey guys,
I've been working for the past month on a shopify store, invested a lot of time into it and a lot of time into products, but I guess i didn't do a good job because i only got 2 sales in a month, so I think i will quit with this niche. Can anyone give me a recommendation on where I could possibly sell my account? Thanks!

Don't quit just yet. This is the biggest mistake you can make to just quit like that. You already invested your time into this and if you continue to analyze and optimize you will be successful for sure. Success might be just around the corner and if you stop now all your work will be lost.

Try different strategies. Look what successful competitors are doing to get traffic. Spread accross more accounts, try different things and be creative!

It's a 50k account with 2k engagement organic, but still.. I think the best thing i can do is sell it and focus on my other account and I am thinking of starting up in affiliate marketing.

Is your IG account in the same niche as your store? If the IG account shows Fashion Posts then yeah theres something wrong.

But, if your IG Account is Cute Fluffy Animals, Babes, Jokes, Cool Quotes, Sunsets, Shiny Cars, etc.... these are not in the same niche as your store and therefore the turnout is about normal.... Here are some made up maths that make it somewhat reasonable

    50K x 4% Reach/Engagement = 2000 (only 2K people are seeing your post)

2 Sales in a month / 2000 people = .001% is your average conversion for your engagement level.
    2 Sales in a month / 5000 people = 1 in 25,000 will convert.

    Can do many tweaks...
    1. Increase your engagement... .001% of 10,000 will be 10 Sales (10K engagement is probably not realistic for your size acct)

    2. Get more followers. If only 1 in 25K will convert, then get tons more followers... 500K Followers will = 20 sales a month.

    3. Fine tune your account's niche, change the sources who you are following, change the posts to be more relevant to your store.

    4. Change your advertising strategy.., Watch Neil Patel, he has many great promo conversion strategies... give away something cheap or free, create demand - "80% off for 24 hours, only 8 products left! Get yours now!"... must experiment to see which type

    5. Evaluate your store - maybe it can be improved... make sure it looks professional and not like a scam. Are there spelling errors, are the photos high quality, is the english grammar correct

fashion niche is not something you can just capitalize and monetize off of... if you dont have the passion for it and really know fashion you wont succeed. and definitely not something you can succeed in with all these instagram bot tricks it has to be organic and instagram tricks can help

Follower Size is irrelevant if 90% of your followers are under the age of 15. You need to use IG Business stats to see the demographics. Are they in your country (or a 1st world). Their age demographics is important. With fashion, you have a lot of "aspirational" kids/teens but not necessary buyers.

maybe you should also try other traffic sources like pinterest for example. Might help a ton maybe not... but dont quit just keep experimenting. Also try dm'ing new followers might help as well. Could make a lot more rather than selling it off where you only may get a couple hundred or less for acct.

1: Is your shopify store using a free theme?
2: What time of day are you posting?
3: Are your followers from follow/unfollow method?
4: What is your ratio of regular posts vs promo posts?
5: For your promo post, how many likes did they get (about the same or significanty less?)
6: Did you provide a call to action in the picture?

Feel free to DM me your store and/or IG account.
I can try finding what you what you did right/wrong and hopefully help come up with a strategy to improve results

Can can you be successful in affiliate marketing if you plan to quit selling your own product? I think you will give up there as easily as well and in the end just waste your time.. Just keep going with your own product!
