here's the million dollar question, even though google pr importance is relative, but how would you go about getting say PR5+ for a brand new site if you had the possibility of registering 200 domains, you had 50+ IP addresses from different class c addresses and 1000 unique 500 word articles.

why spend so much money on domains when you can go out and find somebody willing to sell theirs? That's really the fastest way. Go buy an existing PR5 domain.

Thanks battman,

yes but as soon as you transfer the domain it starts losing PR from what i've seen, i am building a content network, and it would be prohibitive to buy so many high pr domains.

You mean just register 200 .info and slap content on them and link them all to the main site?

for 200 .info's at $3 a pop you would get PR5 with traffic.

Not an authority...

wouldn't 200 all at once be just a bit too quick to maintain a good ranking in the big G's eyes?
Are you rolling it out slowly?

Dot info has been getting some bad press lately as so many people have abused it and many claim that Google isn't giving it much cred until the site proves itself. There are always exceptions though.

Yes we would roll out slowly, and we would use a mix of .com .net .org and maybe some .infos as well as some local tlds
