I just made a couple of sites in a small niche without any competitors. Seems like I'm the only one that have figured out a way to make money with it, so that's a good thing. What's not so good is that I'm the least patient guy on the planet and I wanna take the #1 spot as soon as possible. Its been a while since I did SEO, but I assume content is still a good thing and that links are worth something. I don't think I will need THAT many links to get to the top, but the problem is that it's difficult to be able to use the correct anchor text when making blog comments; they are marked as spam as soon as I use anchor text, so that's next to pointless. I can however get a few links from relevant sites, so maybe that's worth something even if I use wrong anchor. Anyway - what would be the simplest way to do this? Are for example directories worth anything anymore? Yesterday I was on page 4 on the search result, but now the site is no where to be found. I made a few links yesterday, so maybe it's just the google dance. I btw have my main keyword in the domain. Hmm I think that was all - now, what would be the simplest way to do this?
