Quick way to delete spam comment?

I started a blog a few months back and forgot all about it. I want to do something with the site but there are over 100,000 spam comment that I want to get rid of - is there a quick way.

I have now installed Askimet but I think that only looks at new comments

Go into the PHPMyAdmin through your hosting control panel and clear out the comment table in the database.

Warning: That will delete ALL comments. But it beats trying to do it piecemeal!

If you don't want to go the phpMyAdmin route you can use a plugin call WordPress Suicide
