So lately I have been working on a new site targeting about 2 main keywords . Took care of almost everything , from setting up the site and the content too , so I am using a static page targeting my main keywords and also added a blog targeting some other keywords .
So I was wondering since the static page is setup as the default homepage www.domain.com can this affect the rankings since the keyword is not in the site title : domain.com/keyword-keyword.
if anyone can give a reply it will be much appreciated
    Regards

Your keywords don't have to be present in your url before you can rank for them. Just place your keywords within your title and content.
