Say for the web2.0 blogs for tier 1,
What is the minimum number of articles to put in each?
Also is it like a set-up and forget about it kinda thing in terms of content?

Isn't really a minimum, just diversify it.

    Some of mine have 1, some 2, some 3, 1 with like 10 :D

If you've create the new web 2.0 blogs, it's better [unnecessary] to have 1 or 2 post before start your target post [do it as above reply suggest].

    Lpsierra,

The minimum should be somewhere around 4-5, I have found that it is best to populate these accounts with a good amount of posts. Somewhere in the neighborhood of 10-20. It may not be necessary but I have seen that they are less likely to be deleted by admins if they have some resemblance of being a real blog and not just in place for tiered linking.

Here is a good resource on building web 2.0?s
