    Hello,

Appreciate any answers given on this. I know literally nothing about Youtub*, if I was to make videos splicing 3rd party football content would my account get banned?

I ask because some people seem to get away with this, all the 'greatest goals ever' type compilations are obviously copyright infringements but they don't get taken down. On the other hand I notice that if people try and post highlights of a game that has just taken place the content will get blocked straight away.

I would be grateful for any insight into what you may have found is acceptable.

    Warm regards,

    A.

Maybe you need to have a major portion of original content and only a tiny portion of copyright content. I see tons of channels with copyright content which are doing just fine. On the other hand, there are tons of accounts that have been banned for copyright violations. You never know.

    Mr Neo,

Yep agreed, all the sports content is copyright material yet they never get taken down.
