Hi everyone, I hope this is in the right section.

I'm currently have 2 keywords ranking on page 2 of google locally. The one keyword is in the middle of the page and the other is at the bottom. Market samurai tells me the one is searched 800 times daily and the other 500 times daily in my country. Now I know being on page 2 won't get me much traffic but shouldn't I atleast be seeing some? I have only been on page 2 for 4 days but I have seen no traffic from it. Is this normal? Or am I doing something wrong

I'm starting to wonder if I'm even going to see a lot of traffic once I get to the top 3.

I'm still a noob and am slowly learning. Any advice will be great.

It depends a bit on your keyword. If the results are very good on the first page you won't get much traffic. The first 2 results on the first page will get about 60% or more of the traffic.

Is your market samurai set for broad or exact? Make sure to set it to exact to get a better idea for the kind of traffic you can expect. The results for broad will be on the high side.

Thanks for your reply. It was set on broad :-(. On googles new keyword tool I set it to exact and it said the total monthly searches locally were 2400 which is a lot less!!! I'm quite disappointed I was hoping to get some decent traffic when I got to page 1.
I will take this as a learning experience.

What I'm going to do now is find lots of keywords related to my niche and then write some articles. Eventually all the small amounts of traffic I attract from each keyword will add up to a bigger number

There is a fairly accurate click spread for page positions. It helps to calculate:
