Im starting a link pyramid using some web2.0 sites like wordpress, livejournal, blogger and Im not sure exactly how to link them.

For example, on my tier 2 sites linking to my tier 1 sites do I link directly to "mysite.wordpress.com" or would I link to "mysite.wordpress.com/the-article-I-posted" ??

    Thanks!

The "mysite.wordpress.com/the-article-I-posted" is called a deep link and seems to becoming more important than always just linking to "mysite.wordpress.com". From what I?ve been reading lately Google sees deep links as more important currently. I myself mix it up one site with deep links the next with a standard back link and different anchor text.
