Hey, I'm trying hard to finish my master's degree, and I got a project on "Instagram Marketing", and I've never used it, lol.

    Here is my dumb question:
How does the reach works? If I have an account with let's say 10k followers, and I post an image. Will all of my followers eventually see this image when they come online, or is it like Facebook where a small percentage will see it initially, and depending on their reaction, the reach could potentially grow?

P.S. Any tips for my projects, links, ready-made works, etc. will be highly appreciated. Thanks a lot!

Sorry for offtopic, but what the fuck are you studying?
Where can I take masters by submitting a paper on Instagram Marketing?

I'm studying marketing and advertising. This is not my final paper, but a side assignment in order to be able to show up on 1 of the few remaining exams I have. You can't show up on the exam without submiting this paper first.

Reach can be measured in many ways, depending on the final user.

Let's say it's your account and you're the final user. In the example above, a 10K Instagram account has a reach of 10K.

If you're selling, or your case, working for an advertising/PR company, a 10K Instagram account has a reach of:
All your Social Media accounts + Google Analytics webpage sessions for the last 30 days.

So, count all your Instagram followers + GooglePlus + Facebook + Youtube + Pinterest + Tumblr.

Some are also including Vine, Snapchat, etc., but the above are the most "reputable" and long standing as of today.

I can now see your Thesis on "Black Hat World and the Dependency of Instagram Marketing and Advertising for a New Era of Commercial and Personal Reach"

Good luck, and the best in getting your degree!
