I know a lot of people still buy accounts with friends these days. Suppliers are quick to automate a steady (even static) process of creating and generating pseudo-organic activity. You never really know how many of the friends are real or fake. A seller's laziness or lack of creativity in this instance will help you as a buyer to see if you're getting bot friends, or authentic friends.

    Just visit facebook com/pages/browser.php

Look along the side bar for "Friends similar to you"

I'd say a general rule of thumb would be if you see friends that have 5+ "Likes" similar to yours, it's a bot. You can see which pages you mutual "Like." If they're obscure pages (i.e. not Starbucks, etc), that's even more evidence of friend-wheeling.

Just a lil tip to help you buyers out. It's not a definitive means of checking how many of your friends are bots, but it's fairly accurate if you ask me.

    Its a good tip.

If you check the news feed it clearly shows that the friends are communicating with their friends or not, so you can spot it this way also.
