    Say there's a domain:

    randomdomain.com

and they setup a 302 redirect on randomdomain.com to:

    domain.randomdomain.com

Since it's a 302 to another page on the same site does it still pass link juice? If not, when can you use a 302 redirect properly?

    Myownhero,

Using a 302 redirect will not pass link juice to your sub domain. In most cases you will want to use a 301 permanent redirect if you are moving a site to a new domain or for whatever reason moving things permanently. The 302 should only be used in cases where you are temporarily redirecting visitors to another domain.
