I see a lot of people are using it to sell WSO or clickbank product.

    Does it improve conversion?

How do they make that text?

I'm sure one of the Photoshop experts will correct me if I'm wrong but it might be that they write the text in red and then use a highlighter over it. I use snagit to take screenshots and it allows you to write over your screenshot in many fonts and colours. It then has a highlight option which you drag over your text.

If snagit can do it I'm sure Photoshop and the like can do it too.

    Photoshop mate :)

I don't know if that improves conversions or not, but it does actually make the vendor feel good about their sales page  AND draws the attention of the visitor to the overlaying text.

    Cheers

At first I thought it was just the hightlight.

But if you look closely at the edge of the hightlight.

You will see that it looks like oil painting.
