Hi guys. Since I live in an asian country everything I do would result in me using my ip address based in my country including setting up my website right? However i am using hostgator which is based in us to host my site. So I was wondering if this have any effect in the ranking factor if im trying to rank my site in google usa?

If your hosting is based in the US, it has the US IP, so you are fine.

If you would like to completely hide any signs of your Asian IP address and its relation to your website, you can block java scrips of Google Analytics tracking code with the help of the Firefox add-on called https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/ghostery/

What really matters is where you links come from.

If it comes from sites hosted in the U.S then you have more chances of ranking in the U.S than any other google associated sites.
