It's useful to link an expired tumblr to 2.0?
If yes, how many do you suggest?
Well since they changed their outbound links to meta-refresh you need around 2x as many as before.
For a keyword with 1000 monthly search traffic I would use atleast 20 to see results. Depends on the difficulty of the keyword
Tumblr is the best platform for contextual link building. But it depends on the links that are pointing to the expired domain. If they are legitimate links, then you could potentially benefit from them.
If you promote a whitehat niche then you definitely need to use niche related expired tumblr's. (for long term)
Thank you guys.
I need to rank my 2.0 with a longtail keyword with 750 monthly research. How many tumblr do you suggest to use?
If to rank a KW with 1000 monthly research you need 20 tumblr, then maybe 15 tumblr are good for me?
Also, do I need to make an account for every expired tumblr I want register? Or maybe I can do with the "make new blog" option in my dashbord?
For every expired Tumblr that you want to register, you will need the following:
1) Unique Email Account
2) Unique Tumblr Account
3) Different Proxy
Failure to do any of the above greatly puts your expired Tumblr network at risk of being taken down. There are several providers on the BHW marketplace that can provide you with registered expired Tumblrs for cheap. If you PM me, I'll link you to the seller that I use.
Do not, I repeat, do not have multiple Tumblrs blogs registered on one Tumblr account.
As for your question about your keyword, try building the Tumblrs in increments of 5 and see how that affects ranking. This should be in addition to your normal link building activites.
i think it's no use....what's your purpose?
i honestly don't believe tumblr is all that.
I've got 200 tumblrs pointing to a site (various sub pages).. makes little difference.
I think google ignores tuimblr links after say about.. 10 or 15 sites.
