Questions about limitations on PayPal account

    I received a call from one of my colleagues saying that his PayPal account has been temporarily limited and that he needed to give information like confirm bank account, supplier info, invoice, proof of postage and business information.
    He gave all the details and uploaded all necessary documents and he completed the limitation review. All of them are marked with green ticks and marked as completed. However he told me his account is still limited and still saying "Complete the steps listed on this page to initiate a review of the limitations"

    Can you tell me about this?

    Well if they were all marked complete, tell him to call paypal and confirm it. They will take the limit off, sometimes it takes a while for them to do it, since I believe taking limits off accounts are done manually 'once something like this happens'. Someone reviews all the items again (since it was all automated) and then gives it a go.

    That means that the risk analyst team is reviewing it ... it will take them 2weeks to a month to get back to him on it. This is going to end 1 of two ways ... 1. You get a rolling reserve slapped on the account. 2. They send you a letter notifying you that they no longer want your business.

    Oh. He told me that they sent him an email saying they initiating the closure of his PayPal account and that he can appeal.. the poor lad recently lost his job and eBay was his only source of income :(
