Hello,

I have realized that based on the location that google presumes my users account to be, on the serp my websites is ranked high in some cities and lower in others with a huge gap. I am not talking about different countries, just different cities that google guesses based on my dynamic IP, which is usually wrong.

Why is this difference in ranking in different cities? How can I make my ranking in those cities better? White or black hat methods included.

Thank you all.

Google also ranks pages differently for users where they can personalize the results. You could try to optimize the content for related keywords I guess... no shortcuts man.

If you want to target different locations and if you have those different locations pages or not. Mention the cities in the Footer of your website or Somewhere in the bottom of the page. Try that, it will not look weird. And after this you will find that Google will rank you up for all the locations you're trying to rank for.
Thanks me Later.

All because of the keywords you target. Do some research and use the related keywords.

If you want to rank better for some specific location you need to create location-based pages on the website moreover, you can also add them in the footer section as well.

It is country wise ranking and not city wise ranking. You might be seeing change in ranking because of some personal login or particular user behaviour.

Thank you for your replies and insight.
