This is purely hypothetical and I'm asking for educational purposes only. Let's assume the copyrighted material, in this case, was adult videos. Specifically, niche videos from small and independent clip store producers (nothing from major companies). No questionable/illegal content, either. All videos and images would be on other file hosts and linked to or embedded. No content would be hosted on the actual site. The hosting would be provided by an offshore company, and the domain through Namecheap (with fake info and domain privacy enabled). Everything would be done through a no-log VPN. They would definitely be sending out DMCA requests to the file hosts and possibly to the web host. Videos simply getting removed is not a concern, but would you eventually need to worry about legal trouble after some time, especially if you were to gain a following? The money earned would be in the form of bitcoin. It would be tumbled before being transferred to another bitcoin wallet and then to the actual wallet which is linked to the bank account with legitimate personal information, etc. attached. Is this enough? The goal would not be to evade taxes or anything. Those would be paid. Not looking for IRS trouble. However, would it be strange to suddenly see an influx of money coming from a random bitcoin wallet? And would they be able to trace it back? Would they even care? Again, we're just talking about some copyrighted internet porn, so I don't imagine there would be an FBI investigation or anything, but still. I don't know anything about this, so I'm genuinely just curious. Thanks.
