Question metatags,description redirect in register

I have a ton of domains that I do not use anymore that i used for a project that had nothing to do with seo. In my register I can add meta tags/descriptions and redirect the traffic to another domain. If I follow the backlink rules can this method generate traffic without a developed site? Sorry for a noob question I actually been making $$ in im for over 10 years

Probably not. Unless it is a domain that people type in regularly it probably wont get any direct traffic. Domains you can't find a way to use should be flagged to not renew. It costs money to hold them.
