    Hey Guys,

I'm trying to figure out how to use IFTTT to post images to a Facebook page, but I'm running into issues.

I created an RSS feed trigger, and I'm now being presented with the following options:

    ---------------------------
    1. Create a status message

    2. Create a link post

    3. Upload a photo from URL

    ---------------------------

I choose #3 since I am only wanting to use the pictures from the RSS feed, but when I look at my Facebook page, it looks like the images are only being added to albums.

So instead of having regular posts (of images) going to my Facebook, I'm looking at my Facebook page now it is showing all the images grouped up under one album (on my timeline).

    Something like this:
<PageName> added 8 new photos to the album:

Plus you don't even get to see all the images because they're grouped up and it wants you to click to view more.

Do you guys have any suggestions on if it's possible to get images posted to Facebook Pages properly with IFTTT? Or could you suggest another alternative option I could use?

    Thank you

I've tried IFTTT in many ways.

The problem is I just can not monetize the traffic.

If you use facebook with ifttt you must be careful, because it is very sensitive to the application facebook bot

Some people use the application RRS graffiti

Do you know how I can use IFTTT to post pictures to my Facebook timeline instead of them being uploaded to an album?

You have to go to settings IFTTT.
I used to just scape bbc and cnn website, then combine with the fanpage.
However, because the feed is too fast my facebook account is blocked.

i remember seeing at least one RSS feed converter/aggregator, which lets you set the update frequency and how many updates you want to do total, i can't remember the name or find it in my bookmarks unfortunately

to OP: if you can't succeed with ifttt, you can try zapier, it's a bit more advanced than ifttt and works similarly, maybe that one can do it

Would you mind pointing out to me where in the settings that is? I've looking and looking but not having any luck trying to find it.

I will try checking out those other softwares too. Maybe they will work better.

Frustrating! Zapier is not working for me. Whenever I choose the option for rss feed to Facebook page post (stream) it gives me the following error:

Bargle. We hit an error creating a page photo. :-( Error:DNSHTTPSConnectionPool(host='graph.facebook.com', port=443): Read timed out. (read timeout=39)

And I can't find this supposed settings page where you are able to do this on IFTTT.

So is it just not possible to post a picture to your Facebook Page Timeline? (instead of an album)?
