I got 3 PBN links to a forum for aprox 4 - 5 days today I checked GWT and it shows aprox 13000 pages have been deindex. I can't see what pages it is in Webmaster Tools but I can see the total count.

Do you think it can be the 3 links that have been setup?

I asked the 2 to be removed again today and the 3rd I just removed at my own so I will see if it has an impact, but what do you think?

There is 50/50 chance, This update sucks, Links are not getting indexed. Pages are getting deindexed.

Thanks for your reply... I will cross my fingers that after removing the links Google will reconsider and index the pages again.. this is really a pain in the ass.

I guess the only thing you could do is a thorough audit to see the links and which site/s they belong. It seems many are experiencing the initial effects of the update. From what I read though, Google Penguin 4.0 is now faster in recrawling and reindexing pages. Also, that it is now "granular" in a sense that it targets and penalizes specific pages, not the entire website, unlike the previous versions. I hope you recover your PBN links soon, and that you keep us updated on the impact of removing these links from the forum.
