Just a little bit about me...

I have been studying SEO for about a year and wordpress development for about 2. Yes I take on some clients, and I'm doing well... I would just like to diversify my income.

One of the things that I used to do was promote night clubs and bars, And I did well.

But now I'd like to take a different approach and help them promote their nights as a consultant who's been in the business and made money for both myself and the owners doing it..

How would you go about trying to target them through means of online marketing? My target market is struggling club owners (or established club owners looking for more traffic)?

Are you looking for ways to target the club owners or to target the clubbers?

    Good question.

I'm actually trying to find a way to target the owners, and consult them on how to target the audience (which I've got down pat through social media).

I appreciate you trying to help!

In that case I would call them.

There aren't so many of them that you wouldn't be able to contact them all by phone.

Most club owners would be interested in anything that could drive more people to their clubs/nights so you should not find it too hard to arrange meetings either.

Yeah calling is definitely an option as well... like you say, it's a small niche.

Thanks for your help my man.

One of the things I think I'll try to do with it is create a sales funnel with a webinar alongside cold calling! Thanks my man!

    Why a webinar?

Seriously, that would not be a great idea.

Club owners are not going to log into a webinar for you to pitch your service to them.

You need to deal with each one separately. These are the sort of people who do deals face to face.

    Call them
Briefly describe what you can do for them
    Arrange the meeting.

Don't overcomplicate the process with webinars and sales funnels - they are not necessary in this case.

    Hi,

I would do 1 for free on the basis that can be used as a case study then try and grab their attention offline perhaps with the dice method that was shared here or a shot glass which would be much more relevant :)

I think I'm going to test the idea out! The same way you get fat people to submit information for pills, and the same way you get internet marketers to buy software, Is the same way I'm going to attract club owners (I Hope)

I'll try it out, and let you know how it goes!

If I fail, I'll get back up and do it all over again ;)

One of the things I've learned about sales is no matter what, it is always a process... kind of like dating.

Sure... I could go up to women and ask if they want to F***... And maybe 1 in 100 will tell me yes... Or I could sway them with my fancy words and show them what I'm working with... and close 30 in 100.

I figure it won't hurt if I try...

But if you don't mind me asking, why would you think it's too much?

If you mean you are going to use webinars and a sales funnel, then I will wait for your next thread when you get back up and do it all over again.

Club owners are not fat people trying to lose weight. They are hard nosed operators. They are not going to watch your webinar whilst you explain sales funnels and theories and all the intricacies of your techniques.

They don't give a shit about sales patter and techniques. They are interested in the bottom line - bodies through the door and tenners in the till.

I've already said, these are people who do business in person. Face to face.

If you worked as a promoter, surely you have met some of the owners? They don't piss about, they don't waffle, they don't do webinars.

Blunt, but straight to the point. I am humbled. Thanks for your help, friend.
