[Question] How to make money by running PPD and url shortner sites

Hello, i want to know about how to make money by running our own ppd and url shortner sites, i see many sites offer $5-$10 for every 1k downloads/clicks. i dont know much about traffic monetization, ads and ads network so i need your help. i see most of these sites have banner ads, inpage ads and pop under ads enabled, is there any way to find out which ad network a site is using? which ad network or type of ad network will be suitable for this kind of sites.
