A buddy of mine from a different forum was kind enough to preactivate a plugin for me but he refuses to let me know/explain how he did it.

Is there an easy way for a non-coder to check what part or section of the code he "tweaked" in order to successfully pre-activate this particular plugin?

Cheers!!

Some buddy! lol

I personally i am not a coder but I have already Null it a Plugin and a PHP Script but sometimes it's hard it's true

Do you have the original copy of the plugin? If yes, you can download both of them to your machine and use something like Beyond Compare to diff both the files.
That should usually take you to some sort of a License check method where your buddy would have patched some code

Not possible for a non-coder.

1. Obtain a copy of the source code of the plugin that is not preactivated.

2. Copy the source code of your preactivated plugin.

3. Upload both the folders to an online folder diffchecker service. Diffchecker.com pro plan has it. You can get a 30 day free trial.
