With regards to diversity links i.e. podcast/audio directories, picture directories, infographics, presentations etc. How much is too much in your opinion?

If you have a rather large authority site do you build diversity links to:
    A. All targeted pages regardless of keyword competition?
    B. Easier to rank for keywords that allow you to be #1 for certain terms faster?
    C. Harder to rank for keywords in hopes to compete via backlinks?

Wanted to get a consensus from others here on the optimal linkbuilding strategy for authority sites.

How much is too much would really vary on the site however if you're doing link building correctly with proper diversification, it actually takes a lot to kill a website.

    1) I would recommend so - yes. Regardless, having the link juice flow through many pages of your website is always a plus.

    2) Same answer as #1 unless your keyword has very little to no competition (which in this case, a few good backlinks alone will rank it, if any at all).

    3) Yeah you defo need diversity in this case.

    Thanks
    Luka
