Question - Guest Post Requests (Pharma, Gambling, Tobacco, Nicotine, Vape, etc..)

Hey everyone,

Just got an email about some paid guest post opportunities for my blog. They're talking about various topics like tobacco, vaping, gambling, pharma, and maybe even adult content. Looks like they want to order several posts - too, which is cool.

I'm wondering, could this kind of content (I imagine they'll want to link back to the same type of topic/site, too) affect my blog's ranking on Google or other search engines? My blog mainly covers general news, entertainment, and culture - no specific niche.

I've noticed these high-risk topics often pay more, yet many websites avoid them. What's the deal?

I'm really unsure about whether to accept the offer or not.

That's quick way to kill your own site, self goal if you will. Don't fall for it. If your add a linking to a porn site imagine what signal your site will send to Google.
Same goes for smm panels. Don't link to them.
Let them spend big bucks and buy those links from sites that can handle those links or sell those links.

I was definitely feeling like giving a hard 'NO' to adult + gambling for sure.

Was a little bit more on the fence with nicotine, pharma, vape, CBD etc...
