Question for the Dating Guys..

Do you all own porn sites or are there other ways to drive traffic to dating offers? I don't mean the obvious stuff that makes you 10-20$ a day, but I see a lot of people making bank off of dating and I doubt they all own large porn sites..

I have my friends in local region who started with a small dating site for the college campus and now they make good amount of money , it all depends on your target segments and how satisfactorily you are serving the masses

There is no need of a porn site, the truth is that porn traffic don't convert good with dating offers since peoples on porn sites are not looking for a date they just look for porn. Some of the traffic do convert but the rates are not good.

If you want to convert dating offers you should be advertising by other dating sites. And also by entering sex chats / dating chats and so on.

Last week I was trying a dating offer that I found on CJ. It converted VERY well and I had 90 sign ups on 2 days and it was worth 514$. But then my traffic source was fucked up and I get no more signs from that dating site.
