I own 2 websites for better understanding I will call them A,B. A & B is already Ranking on the first page of Google for many keyword because I have purchased few SEO gigs from BHW and also did some manual work

But now I am planning to start the manual SEO work for both my websites A & B because I have seen that purchased links soon get deleted and Ranking really drops very rapidly which is really not good.

I have a question before starting my manual SEO journey.

1. My website A is 3 years old I have started working on it from scratch my website B is 10 years old I brought it from GoDaddy auction, B is really performing well but I have given a backlink from website B homepage to A, I think because of this B is not Ranking higher than A, both A & B are from same niche. My question is should I remove the backlink which I have given to A from B?

Note : both the domains are purchased from same GoDaddy account but for B I am using Amazon aws server and for A am using a local server.

2. What is proxies? Should I buy proxies and use them to generate manual backlinks? I am already using a premium VPN and also changing the IP address while doing the backlink work but I think those IP's may be being already used by other users too so is it compalsory to use exclusive IP's?

3. How many backlinks should be created by single IP address?

If you want to know the link of A & B please send me a PM I will send you the links of both the sites

Proxies are just hiding your real IP address and making it look like your IP is something else.

You use proxies when you are creating 2 accounts on Twitter.com for example, because maybe they don't want you to have 2 accounts. But Google can't see your IP address. It just helps to use proxies when you are creating many many accounts or doing upvoting on your own posts so the platform (Twitter or Reddit or Wordpress.com) doesn't ban your account so easily.

You shouldn't need any proxies unless you are using some automated tools or creating MANY accounts on the same platform.

Thanks for the answer, surely I will remove the backlink of A which I have given from the website B, so that there will no footprint that google can see, I want to know that is there any problem if we have 2 or 3 websites of same niche? Is this not okay with google?

Thanks for the answer, so as per your information that is okay with google if we create as many manual backlinks as much we want from the same IP? Just the 3rd party website should not come to know that one person is having multiple accounts, so if want to create multiple accounts on the 3rd party website like eg. reddit.com we should keep changing the IP address keep creating the accounts that's all ?

Yes because reddit does not reveal the IP address to Google. So, for Googles knowledge, it could be all different people.

Only websites hosted by Google like Blogger for example, then you need to change IP address I guess because they can see your IP.

But any other website Google can not know the difference so no need to change the IP for them.

If I have a Twitter account, Reddit account, Instagram account, Wordpress.com account, Google cannot know if I own them all based on IP, so do not need proxies.
