Question for Adult Site Owners

I've got a website I've managed to build up to 2k unique visitors a day (per Google Analytics). I've been testing various ads with not much success so far. I'm curious of any other adult site owners, around what amount of traffic were you gaining sustainable, consistent income? I actually am continuously slowly working on numerous traffic sources but am curious if I'm just not handling the monetization well. I tried JuicyAds for a bit, but people barely clicked them, like 10ish a day.. I get sometimes 50-200 clicks via CrakRevenue, although most don't end up as anything.

I'm aware adult traffic is a numbers game so I don't have ridiculous expectations, but I am still surprised I haven't had any income besides PPL.

Did you say 2k uniques a day? Is this targeted adult traffic? You should be banking hard with that amount of adult traffic. I'm guessing the quality is low because I've made a lot of money with a lot less traffic.

Don't remember how many ad clicks because I quit it like, 4 years ago, but I made around $29 over a whole month of getting 1.5k uniques a day with Plugrush.

I managed to make something once I scaled it up to 10 websites, but that was too much work even when automated so my earnings dropped. Couldn't bank with just 1 for the life of me.

Adult traffic is easy and cheap to get but it also isn't worth scraps if you ask me

It is adult traffic, around 1600 of it is referrals from google, the remaining 400 is a mix of twitter/pinterest/top sites/ direct.

Adult traffic is cheap. Your CTR is probably less than 3% of people so with 2000 uniques that is only 30-45 clicks at most a day.
From places like juicyads/plugrush/exoclick you will get at most 1c per click and generally less. So that is only 30-60c a day based on your traffic.

If you go down crackrevenue it may not convert. Especially if your running a "free" adult gallery or tube site. Those visitors do not convert and so your left to the ad networks.

Adult traffic to "free" sites is the worst of all adult traffic. But its the easiest to get as well. You can make 20K visitors a day aiming at that traffic.

Use popups and mobile pops and add multiple ad networks onto your site. At least that way you might get a few more cents per 1000 visitors.

Whats your niche? I work in the Webcam niche with 3 blogs and 1 small website. I get 4k UV (all 4 sites) per week and I'm making around $200-$400 rev share mostly. plus some uploaded vids on xvids, hamster, etc.

All I do is soft sell, I lure my visitors to get to each girl and buy memberships to watch them. No much of ADS Banners or creatives as it doesn't convert at all (for me). just unique blog articles and content.

I see. Seems I should really try to tailor the offers carefully. I'm doing something thats not recommended which is a lot of categories. My source of content is quality and endless basically. However it seems Google is liking me more and more as the days go on, so I was aiming for more traffic instead of trying hard to target people. This is especially because I'm cultivating social accounts that could pay off well if i'm patient.

I figured popups may be the best way to monetize but I've been trying to avoid them since they are greatly disliked by search engines and porn site toplists.



Does anyone maintain an adult site that makes real money off places like JuicyAds/Traffic Junky? I'm guessing you may average upwards of 500k visits a month to do so, I'd be interested of a ballpark number.

Get more organic traffic to your site, then sell your ad spots to other people.

It all comes down to clicks so "interesting" ad placement can sometimes generate more clicks. I assume most of you traffic is US based.

To give you ball park figures. I have over 4 million ad impressions on juicy a month. I get approx. 14K clicks. Those clicks only make about $120-$150 a month.

Before anyone says use crackrevenue, etc. My traffic does not convert. Its just people searching for free adult stuff.

The above figures do not include mobile or popunders.

Majority of ppl know use social traffic in this game to gain good income daily.

I've never done PPL, only revshare and it pays off long term in adult. I'll drop you a PM with some other offers you can try that pay good.
