    Hi,

    I have a question.

    I want to place an facebook share on my website, but with in external url.
    When I click on it, it shares the url on my facebook wall, but I want to control the image and the text that goes along in my code.

    Is this possible?

    Because now it shares the image and the text from the external URL.
    Can i overwrite this?

    Do you mean this: http://www.facebook.com/sharer.php?u=... ?
    You can control the text and image with Open Graph META Tags. Google it.

    <meta property="og:title" content="..."/>
    <meta property="og:type" content="..."/>
    <meta property="og:url" content="..."/>
    <meta property="og:image" content="..."/>
    <meta property="og:site_name" content="..."/>

    It can be done by using the right metatags.
    <meta property="og:title" content="..."/>
    <meta property="og:type" content="..."/>
    <meta property="og:url" content="..."/>
    <meta property="og:image" content="..."/>
    <meta property="og:site_name" content="..."/>
