Some ads get 200k+ reach and others that are the same get 0
it depends on several factors, like:
1. your CPC - if it's too low, you will not get impressions, or as less as possible
2. your audience interests: not adding interests, or adding too much (which are not relevant to your advertising niche), will result in less impressions or 0
How did you configure your ads? Were they in the same campaign? You are sure you didn't inadvertently mess up your targeting settings? For paid advertising, nothing should be at zero. If you are sure you configured everything right, I would contact Facebook.
I've just joined facebook ads, put on my first campaign about 2 hours ago, and still got 0 impressions.
I chose a $0.05 CPC, could that be the reason? I mean, fb doesn't tell you nothing about a min required CPC, rather just a recommended one, which was too high (about $0.70) as I currently don't see any sense in paying such a high amount since this is not really targeted traffic as opposed to adwords for example, where people are actually searching for a specific keyword.
I have the same problem, some have 100k impressions and some have 500....
It depends on two main factors:
1. your CPC, i.e. setting it to something real low (as u did) will likely to get you impressions nor clicks - dont be afraid to max the bid, since eventually, it will affect your CTR and you'll pay less then stated.
2. your audience interests. lacking interests list, or adding too less, will flag your ad as not enough relevant / targeted etc - hence, you'll get as less traffic as possible. Just like Adwords and Quality Score.
Start with FB suggested CPC and then lower it down as your ads propagate across FB.
