I've searched the forum but cant seem to find what I'm looking for.

Could someone please recommend a twitter bot which will direct message my twitter followers?

    Cheers :)

I used to use TweetAdder 3 which was awesome for this, but when they upgraded to TweetAdder4, a bunch of features changed and the thing crashes a ton, but it can auto DM followers. The only downfall is that the license is $75. I'd try to see if you can find a free download somewhere. That's probably your best bet. With its bugginess, it's not worth paying for.

On Sourceforge you can find php-written software called... Twitter-bot, haha. It's free and I've been using it for a while. Kinda buggy sometimes, but overall it's a great solution and you don't need to pay a cent for it. Besides your main requirement it can follow trendy people and fetch RSS. Hope I help :)

I downloaded Twitter-bot from sourceforge but I'm not really sure how to use it. I tried uploading the php files to my webserver and I tried running them locally off apache but I keep getting this error
