[QUESTION] Can "Ignore" users PM me?

Tried to search for an answer to this on the forum but I didn´t find anything.

I know if I enabled the "Ignore" feature on a user I won´t be able to see/read their comments or threads but wondering how this applies to PM...Can they PM me or reply to a previous PM?

It’s been a while since I used xenforo but if memory serves me correctly ignored users aren’t blocked. So they can send new PM and reply to old PM.

If memory serves me right (I used to run a few forums on Xenforo before selling them all ~circa 2017)

By default, when an ignored user messages you (after being ignored), the system behaves as if you have already left the conversation - so you never see the message in your Inbox.

However, if they have an existing conversation with you, it continues and you have the option to leave the conversation and ignore any further conversation from the user.

Xenforo's Ignore function is modular, meaning it can be enhanced and customized - I am not sure how the management here has set the options to.

I would like to know this as well. I’ve some users on ignore and have missed out on their posts on my sales threads (and the notifs).
