Sites like BTMon, btscene, smarag, and monova to name a few. I have found that I don't have to change my IP often.. if ever. I just do for a safe guard. I find that my torrents don't get removed and actually stay up forever.

I am wondering if anyone can answer this question. Do I ever need to change my IP on these sites? Most people would probably say yes, simply because of the safe guard factor, but can anyone testify a "no" answer?

I am too chickshit to upload 100 torrents and then get them axed based on IP :D .. too time consuming.

To answer my own question, the smaller torrent sites don't care about IP and they will host your torrent no matter what. I have set my systems on a 24 hour crusade for this purpose, and it looks like all links are intact. The next thing I will look at is longevity, and Google indexing. So far things are looking on the up and up!

Haha answered your own questions, how many torrents did your system upload? Torrents getting peers? Keep us updated on your tests!

I uploaded 500 torrents on 1 IP over the course of 2 days.. roughly. I have most of the links to the torrents and they are still alive, and the traffic is starting to roll in.

I actually was not able to change my IP because my ISP only allows 8 new mac/IP's per modem in any 48 hour period, so it was a good opportunity to try this out.

Edit.. I did use some proxies, but I found they are more of a pain in the ass then they are worth; at least the ones I was using.

just want to say that i did follow and subscribed to this thread from its start without having anything of valuable to add exept that i noticed that when upploading shit to the smaller sites they never get deleted. For sure i will be less carefull with the IP now after this thread so thanks a lot for the info

I always thought the smaller trackers love when people upload many torrents.. I don't know why they would kill them or ban you for uploading a lot. Am I missing something?

Ive never tried smaller torrent sites i like my seeds to be high for a faster download

In my experience its better to just upload to TPB/mn and risk getting banned because in the short amount of time the torrent is up, you should get a good amount of downloads

Is your program working 100% now on those smaller sites? What kind of traffic did you receive from those 500.

Yes, program is working 100% on smaller torrent sites.

I use my own version of the SSM which emails me every time someone completes a form, and yesterday I received 159 completed submits.

Just thought I'd update the thread with my experiment.

I just did some random looksies at the original 500ish torrents I uploaded, and they seem to be all or mostly alive.

I have had 920 successful SSM's off them, valued at roughly $3 per torrent. That is not downloads, but completed SSM's, so the number of downloads is probably much higher.

I started/completed the submission on or around Jan 22, and I still get hits on them.
