Does BHW consider only discussing the policies of something as being Politics or a much broader area as politics. For example if someone created a thread about how to raise money for a campaign for a elected position so you can get a job if that person wins the election. Would that be considered Political discussion and be against the rules or its considered marketing and allowed.

And is anything somewhat "political" but related to IM that can cause us to make less money, exempt from the political discussion rule as long as its more about economical effects and not emotional talk? Like for example sopa/pipa/acta etc.

It's not the monetization of political campaigns that's not allowed, it's talking about your political views. It's a pretty heated topic that most people won't agree on so there's no use in talking about it. At least that's the way I see it. You can talk about a site without giving away any details or specifics. There's really no reason to say the candidate or party, etc whenever you're discussing it.

I just want to be more clear on what is and whats not considered politics by the BHW admins and mods. If we can discuss the marketing aspects of how to raise funds for a election campaign, it might help someone on here get a contract with their city.
