I had several blogspot blogs that I had switched to co.cc custom domains a couple months ago, well now that co.cc is down/gone I decided to switch these blogs back to blogspot.com domains. But I have no idea how this switching influences these blogs being found in the SERPs and how it influences SEO, so now that I have switched these blogs back to blogspot will they get updated in Google and essentially start a new life, how all does this work?

I don't think it can be switched back to blogspot dot com without affecting the SEO anymore. You can't even register a domain change because you won't be able to do 301 redirects from your old domains. This is why free (and cheap) things suck... Luckily i did not fall into the trap ( but made some dollars with the ref though )..

I will be happy if anyone proves me wrong :)

You can! But it's new story alltogether. Check ur settings page for switching back to blogspot sub domain. I pray that google doesn't hit you for duplicate content. Best of luck :)
