I'm currently running an seo service and have experienced great gains in just a month but sometimes my site is on google and sometimes it's not meaning

    Im ranked 19 sometimes
And when I check other times I'm not even ranked in the top 500 can anyone explain why it's doing this? I check quite often and it is doing this consistently

Its called the google dance, and will go on for awhile. It's quite normal, once the sites have some age the ranking will start stabilizing.

One method that often stabilizes a ranking page is getting genuine backlinks...

Works both ways BH quick results but can backfire resulting in de-indexing and lower ranking position

WH takes longer to climb the SE ranks but in most cases once a rank has been reached the position can be retained with less risk in being de-ranked et al

But so many other factors come into the mix, the above is just what happens in many cases...

    Home Page:
How is your bounce rate when its at position 19? You might have to tweak it so its around 49%. I found that by tweaking the bounce rate my site stays in my position. If your site has a low bounce rate then Google knows that you have a website with valuable content.

Another factor is your backlinks, You may want to create articles from high authority websites so your site has more strength in the search engine.

Just keep updating the content regularly and building (high quality) links to the site and it will stabilize. Having a site do what yours is doing when there new sites really is normal, it's nothing to panic over. And take into account the current google update still ongoing.

Right now I have some client websites going bonkers, going up and down in the serps like your sites, just give it time and the site will come around.
