I'm going to start to sell replicas soon here on BHW. Replicas of watches with the trademark names on them. My question is, if I ship them to someone else in the country or overseas, is there a way I can get caught? If so, what would be the repercussions?

Eh.. Are you going to sell replicas here?? I don't think this is the best forum for selling replicas and I am sure that most of the members here agree with me.

Last time I posted a thread about selling this I got a lot of PMs. I never went through with it because of issues beyond my control.

Replicas don't have trademark names, counterfeits do. Glad I could clear that up.

'...My experience shipping replicas from Thailand is this:

If you mail one or two watches, bits of jewellery, a few pirated DVD's etc to an individual, they usually get through to all countries of the world.

If you wanted me to ship wholesale a box of 1,000 replica watches, or 5,000 perfect copy 'The Dark Knight' DVD's etc., they might also get through. However, if Customs, seeing a package this size coming from Thailand decide to open it, the contents will be confiscated.

You don't say from where to where you will be shipping. Interstate within the US should not be a problem. Shipping from Thailand to India, Cambodia, Malaysia, Russia, Middle East, Spain etc., should not be a problem.

Shipping from US to Asia should not be a problem.

I can answer more accurately if I know where you are situated and where you want to ship to.

Hey themagican, i know your post is a couple of years old, but im interested in your experience in shipping stuff from china or hong kong to germany?
I heard germany's customs are very strict so im thinking about shipping it to a private adress in england first.
What do you think about england? Which shipping company should i use?
How would you ship it if its always only 1 item?

    thanks a lot. greets
