I have a quick question, Im making a review site for amazon products. Im using WP with Flexsqueeze theme. I want the homepage to be static with general information about the product.

When Im building backlinks I will direct them all to mywebsite(.)com Now when I google my keyword will it pull up mywebsite(.)com or will it bring up "mywebsite(.)com/static-page.html" ? Im not to sure how thats works. Hopefully I explained that well enough.

Your static sub-page may rank if the keywords aren't too competitive, your internal linkage is good, and you have strong backlinks to your home page.

The subpage may require its own external links to rank.

Ideally will bring both but the actual page will rank as google ranks according to the actual page address/slug
