first, I think this is the best place to post, but I'm not sure.

If i have a website and I am trying to get the PR higher, what page do I need to link to?

I know that each page of a website will have its own page rank, but lets say 100 links will get a page to PR1, if I send the links to website.com/cool-post, cool post will become PR1, but will website.com become PR1 as well?

Then say PR2 needs 300 links, If I send 100 links to each website.com/cool-post, website.com/yolo-post, and website.com/Justin-Bieber-post, each page will get PR1, but will website.com get PR2?

Thanks for the info in advance.

Alot depends on where the links are coming from and the page rank of the pages the links are on. I would set up some squidoo lenses, with a little effort you can get these to be pr 2-4. Once they have pr you can link them to your site or page on your site. This will help you increase your pr. It is a good idea to link to multiple pages on your site, you then can link from these pages to the page you want to increase in pr using a good anchor text, do this from within the content if possible. Internal links pointing to the pages you care about can have a positive affect on pr and rankings for these pages.

Increase your main URL PR first as any future posts will get indexed faster. Also don't forget intersite linking. This will keep the PR juice flowing through all of your sites urls.
