    Hey guys,

Following up from my 'I made my first ever £ online today and it's all down to you, BHW.' thread, I've got a question about the traffic my money site is getting from Facebook.

I've got 10 accounts running that are sharing my money article from the page that I created (the page is the domain name's social media page - if that makes sense) into groups. The reason I'm doing it that way is I'm hoping because technically my accounts are just sharing 1 link (the original post from the money sites FB page), it won't get flagged as spam AND because they're sharing what appears to be a legit site and news article hopefully get more clicks...

Anyway as you can see my shared post has had 159 clicks on the link to my money site

However, when I checked my analytics for the site on 1and1, it showed me a different story...

According to 1and1, I've had over 2k views but how can this be possible if I've only had 159 people clicking my link to go to my site?

Does anyone know much about traffic and stats etc because I don't lol.

(If the big homie @BassTrackerBoats would be able to grace me with his presence and knowledge it'd be hugely appreciated big fella.)

    Cheers guys.

add google analytics to your site, and see the real stat there. ignore the stats from 1n1, looks like their tracker is not functioning right. if you got 159 link clicks from facebook, that will decrease to something like 100+.

So this might be a silly question, but how and why are there thousands of bots and crawlers on my site lol?

Every search engine etc crawls sites non stop once they find them. Even Google on it's own will crawl your site a lot and lots of times day looking for changes.
