one of my old friends has been making 2-5k per month for many many many months and she got banned and haven't heard anything yet from the affiliate network but she just got banned like 30 mins ago, she probably made easily over 50-75k from them for quite some time. What should she expect to happend?

also Anyone care to share there "banned" story with us? and how much you were making per month and how long you were with them etc. MUCH THANKS IN ADVANCE

simple call them.they will let you why she got banned.
also was she doing all bh stuff.may be leads didnt convert for the merchant.

Even if she was doing blackhat stuff you still have the right to ask. They will tell you why and you have just got to learn from your mistakes. But 2-5k a month isnt really staying under the radar if it is blackhat.

i think it was all blackhat though, she should still ask? or just get the fuck out?

has anyone had any experience with this though in general, not her terms specific but yours, if you made atleast 100+ per week and got banned. have they tried to take back ur money from day1 to the day u get banned? or do they just ban u and say bye or would they try to goto court over all the money?

They're not going to take her to court over it, well depending on what she was doing anyways. If she was spamming millions of emails a month then she might end up in court, but the AN won't go after her, the fed will.

I've been banned before, it's not really a big deal theres a crap ton of AN's out there that pay and pay good.

Hope that helps.

thanks for the information, i was waiting for her to reply back on icq, she said it was just one offer and incentives for the offers but she never had a problem with the AN til 12+ months later

yeah, i can see why she'd be nervous. good idea not to rock one offer too hard.

Just one offer? Well, I'm surprised she didn't get dumped before 12 months. That's quite a bit to run to one offer, on one network...

Not an affiliate network but a while back I got banned by a domain parking company, for sending craigslist traffic to them, I was doing ~$2k/day with them at the time. They got some complaints from the CL nazi's and so they dumped me it wasn't a big deal though, because the traffic converted, but they did make me wait a couple months before paying out. Called me a up a couple weeks later and asked me to come back as long as I didn't get any more complaints...

When you are doing blackhat type stuff make sure that you're stuff converts, as long as it converts you shouldn't have to many problems.

There's a huge difference between affiliate networks like CJ and affiliate programs run by the companies themselves (E*P*N, A*m*a*z*o*n etc.) In the first case the network wants you to make as much as possible so they can get their cut. They don't care what you do so long as their clients don't notice. Where the company is paying out their own money and they catch you doing something black hat, they want you out for good.

do they still pay you the balance that you made or do they have the right not to pay you?

I think your friend should have quit when she had made about 10k total. Going to 75k and 100k is really pushing it.

I have been making 1700 a month by stuffing and similar things. What do you mean by "as long as the leads convert"? Do you mean as long as they "lock" (in CJ)? I understand conversion to be this...sale --> locked ---> get paid. Thanks for clearing that up if you can..

What I mean by converting is that the advertiser is getting something they can make money on. When I did the CL traffic I'm pretty sure it converted because the quality score was always very good.

btw I don't think that 75k over the course of a year is all that much.

Oh, i gotcha. I am stuffing and making bank on actual physical products. So the company must be making money, they make & sell the products.

What does it cost a company that grosses $30-50M a year in sales to sue somebody across the country? Wouldn't it cost a minimum of $5k on their end for attorney fees etc. I don't want to raise too much suspicion. I figure if I can get 5k from this company, 5k from that company, and never go back to the ones you stuffed before, you are pretty safe. I am not about to go pull 70 or 80k from a company over a year, because then you start to be come the top affiliates and they pay closer attention to them and where their sales are coming from. Once they notice that you have been cheating all that time, don't you think they are going to start suing people? If they can spend 10 grand in attorneys fees to recoup 100 grand I am sure any company would do it. I think if you take up to $5000, its prob not worth it for most big companies to bother with you other than ban you from the affiliate networks.
