I'm doing link wheel for several sites(my own and few for clients) for last couple of weeks. I normally post articles to web 2.0 sites and then link wheel between them. I also bookmark each properties in SB sites and do few high PR blog commenting on them. I heard that link wheel has no value now. Is it true?

Im not sure but personally i use pyramids only and i think they are way better because of no footprints.

I have seen a lot of reputed people selling linkwheel services, so I think they are still getting it worked.

if done properly linkwheels still rock

If I do link wheel with contextual links on contents of the articles then will that work?
I'm trying to work hard get effective link wheels. Please advice me with very effective information.

Here's what's i do (i will start service soon)
I create 10 web 2.0 as first tier and 100 as second. I just point 10 web 2.0's from second tier to one from fist,no interlinking between them. Then i bookmark all web 2.0's to 25 bookmarking sites and submit them all to 100 article dirs by AMR. Then i blast all articles with around 100k of scrapebox blog comments. So far this is very effective.

Two questions...

1. How quickly do you see SERP movement?
2. what do you submit to the 100 article dirs and what do you link the articles to?

Just got confused with the explanation... but looks good from what I get of it...

1. Depends on competition - sometimes even after one day.
2. I submit spinned articles by AMR and i link 100 articles to each web 2.0

Do you submit unique articles to each web 2.0 sites? Or spin them?
You told you use 100 properties in 2nd tier. Do you interlink the 2nd tier links to your main site? And also do you use 100 different web 2.0 sites or there may be repetition?

hey cats, do you do this for yourself or for companies? Looking for someone to improve my rankings.

What program do you use for creating the web 2.0s?

I can't understand your question properly. If you can make it clear then that will be more helpful.
BTW, web 2.0 sites have great value to search engines and I post unique articles to web 2.0 sites. And then bookmark them to get indexed. And I analyzed it improves SERP. Do I answered properly for your question?

I submit spun articles to web 2.0.
I don't interlink any tier. There are just 10 at first tier pointing to my money site and 100 at second tier pointing to first tier - 10 to each from first tier.
Every 10 sites have to be uniqe. It's hard to explain but for example:
First tier: site1,site2,site3,site4,site5,site6,site7,site8,site9,site10
Second tier:site2,site3,site4,site5,site6,site7,site8,site9,site10,site11 pointing to site 1 from first tier. site1,site3,site4,site5,site6,site7,site8,site9,site10,site11 pointing to site 2 from first tier.
So you need total of 11 uniqe web 2.0

Ok According to the few experimentation made based of the case studies of Panda 2.5,Link wheel can play a very minor role in SERP rise.
Is it still active or not is very controversial but I believe that generic link wheel hardly has any meaning nowadays and if you really intent to build Link wheel with web 2.0 properties then it is always better to go with the custom structures and more stress should be given on indexing of the created back-links.
Another thing that plays a role is the domain age.Sometimes it is seen that a site with high DA can rank high with even the simplest from of Link chains.
I will still look forward for more bumping in this thread..
