    Hello BHW Members
I hope that everyone is fine and safe during the current lockdown

I have a new tech blog, I do have on it around 30 articles. yesterday I got a mail from a guy asking me if I accept paid guest posts or niche edits in published articles on my blog category and what is my price?

Since I'm a newbie I don't know how does the guest posts or niche edits work, also does it looks legit or a scam to get this kind of mail while my blog is around 4 months old.
Can you please guys give me a fast explanation about guest posts and niche edit.
and in case it's not a scam, what is the price for this kind of stuff, please.

Thank you for your responses in advance, and I wish you a great day/evening :)

    Just take a cautious approach.

As your blog is new and it does not have any good authority factor, why would someone approach you for guest post.

Either he is trying to get advantage of you. He might put a guest post on your blog and then blast your blog post with spammy link.

    So do your due diligence.

This sounds like an outreacher trying to get a link on your site.
Name your price. Roughly look at your metrics like DA, TF, traffic. Price is up to you $25-50 maybe.
If you get paid this is not a scam, you don't have much too lose. And yes outlinking is perfectly fine.
Usually outreachers are not scam (maybe <5% scam).
