I have a movie website where I embed movies I find throughout the web.

My website was ranked very well on the first page for my keywords but after a while it got deindexed due to DMCA complaint.

Usually I just register a new domain, 301 redirect it, change a few things and within a day or two the new domain is indexed where the previous left off. This time, it didn't. My website is 301 redirected to a new domain that I just bought and it dances a lot, it's #1 for one of my 5 main keywords, the rest are dancing between 2nd and 3rd page.

What other people in my niche do (at least 5 websites) is do some kind of weird subdomain redirect where they point their website to a www2? For example, say their website was watchspidermanmovie.tv it would point it to www2.watchspidermanmovie.tv and that would instantly take the rank of the previous, I didn't do this so I'm suffering pretty badly right now for income/traffic.

Does anybody know the exact steps to switch what I'm doing and get a subdomain of my previous domain? Do I just create a subdomain and transfer the files to that then 301 redirect my old domain to the www2 subdomain? It's kind of confusing I'm hoping anybody here can help me :)

Do what your competitors are doing, what worked before would not always work.
