hi everyone, last day I bought an expired domain name from godaddy auction , the domain age was 6 years and a couple of months, but once the site was on my account its age was changed to yesterday's date, I thought that it will keep its age
so my question is, how can I buy a site without losing its age?
    thanks

If you're referring to the whois age, yes that one updates every time the domain changes hands. But, the history of the domain remains, but it won't be associated with you. The domain will still appear as first registered in 2007 (6 years ago).

You can verify this using who.is. Check your domain and click the "history" tab.

    Cheers.
