question about expired domain and 301 redirect

Hi, I found few expired domains which have few quality backlinks and also have clean archive history, but they have spam score like 30%, 50% etc (I check on Moz tool), do you think its still worth buying (register) those domains, then do 301 redirect to money sites?

well , its 50-50% chances, rather than redirecting them to money site, better to setup the site and take the backlinks to the inner pages and once your setup site indexed, you can redirect them.

sorry, I dont understand 'take the backlinks to the inner pages', inner pages on setup site or money site?
lets say I got expired domain xxx .com , from your suggestion, I set it up on the server, should I need to recover the site page content from archive .org? or create a brand new site with little AI content? then wait some time until site is indexed, then do 301 redirect to money site, right?

Moz's spam metric is completely useless.
It's a metric they made up that says that similar sites like this have been blocked by Google 30% of the time, maybe this one will be blocked too. Which in no way guarantees that it will be blocked, it's all up to you.

On former news sites it spams 70% of the time, because mostly people spam them and then put a lot of links there and get penalized. I use news sites and I don't put any bad links there, I don't put a lot and none of my sites have been penalized and it shows 70% spam for them - this metric is complete shit, don't trust it, look at the site itself and what you will do on it.

Do not rely on Moz spam score instead look at the backlink profile and anchor text to determine how bad it has been spammed

I have another question, the expired domain has many backlinks but only few referring sites, lets say expired domain xxx .com has 1000 backlinks, but only has 10-20 referring sites (some of them are high quality websites), do you think this expired domain xxx .com worth buying (register)? I will use it do 301 redirect to money site, then those high quality website backlink juice will pass along to money site, right?

As long as these links are not spammy in terms of source websites, anchors & page(s) content you're good to go,
You can get 10k duplicate links from a single legit website and they will still do the work, won't count as 10k different links tho

inner pages means money site, you can recover the expired domains' content from archive or can simply setup the wordpress page and write that we been aquired by your money site, let your expired domain index and then redirect to the inner page of money site , and if you do not lose ranings or anything bad then redirect on the home page.

spam score does not mean sh*t, it's just a metric, some of my websites are skyrocketing with a spam score of 80%, but still be careful, do your research!

Check whether the domain has any penalties by using google search console because if it does , it might be risky. do not go with expired domain if the spam score is too high.

Do you read the posts in the thread? Did you read on Moz how their spam metric is calculated? What kind of nonsense are you talking about here?
No links do not affect their spam calculation, the quality of the site does not affect their spam calculation at all, it only affects how many such sites Google has blocked in the time they have been monitoring sites.

so appreciated at your guy reply, I learn a lot here, I would try to keep low spam score/no spam for safe investment.

Did the domain recently expire and does the domain rank for keywords?
If yes, ignore the spam score and register it.
I have multiple expired domains with 30-60% spam score that rank just fine

Are these expired domains relevance topic to your Money site?
For 301, expired domains with backlinks must be topic relevance.
If they are not, then build a PBN on them.
