    Hi,

This is probably a tricky question and maybe one that there is no answer to.

When you're doing some research on niche products, you obviously do some keyword research and find out global and local traffic numbers but does anyone have a way of calculating what they think will be the amount of traffic their website will receive if they go ahead and set it up? I know traffic is obviously related to how much SEO you do and how many different ways your promoting but I'm just trying to work out which of the niches I've thought of will be the most profitable, don't know whether anyone has a way of coming up with a rough number or a calculation they do?

Sorry if this question makes no sense. :)

I would suggest using SEMRUSH - and typing a particular site that ranks well for the keyword that you want to rank for. Whoever is in the top 3 positions for that keyword monopolize approx 70% of the clicks from Google. So that is a good estimator that you are looking for :)

Thanks for the advice. Looks a bit expensive for me at $69.95 a month though.

It is... very over-priced but as I've found it's competition is also very $$$.
